Addis Ababa means "new flower" and nowhere is this more evident than in the Sabahar Silk Garden. Home to the arts of natural dyeing, hand-spinning, weaving, and sericulture (silk moth rearing), Sabahar offers educational tours by appointment. No appointment is needed for our retail store, also located on the grounds and open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
Our grounds are inviting, relaxing and lush. The garden also hosts our creativity workshops. Call for details.
